Join Dr. Edwin James Dean, owner of NAWI- Naples Aesthetics and Wellness Institute, for an overview of the natural decline and consequences of depleted hormone levels in women and men. He will also discuss the history and misconceptions of hormone therapy including the landmark Women’s Health Initiative Study. He will look at options for hormone replacement Therapy (HRT) and discuss the drawbacks and benefits of HRT including enhancing internal health, external beauty, and quality of life.
Dr. Edwin James Dean grew up in Naples and graduated from Naples High School. He also graduated from Cornell University, Cornell Medical School and LA County/USC Emergency Residency and was board certified in Emergency Medicine for 30 years. About 15 years ago, he made a deliberate shift to wellness to focus on identifying and reducing cardiovascular risk, and health aging strategies.
