Description
This class focuses on body alignment and consists of gentle movements and holding poses for extended periods to regulate and improve breathing while increasing flexibility and range of motion. Hatha yoga can decrease respiratory rate, increase blood flow, and slow heart rate. Some other health benefits of hatha yoga include reducing blood pressure and anxiety while decreasing muscle tension.
