PiYo is a dynamic fitness class that blends the core-strengthening precision of Pilates with the flexibility and flow of Yoga—but with a faster pace and a stronger cardio element.
Instead of holding poses for long periods, PiYo keeps you moving continuously through low-impact sequences. This creates a workout that builds strength, improves flexibility, and elevates your heart rate at the same time. You’ll flow through movements that target your core, legs, arms, and back, often using your own body weight for resistance.
A typical PiYo class includes:
- Fluid, dance-like transitions between poses
- Core-focused exercises inspired by Pilates
- Stretching and balance work drawn from yoga
